AMY’S APPROACH

As a dancer, Amy connected instantly with Pilates and personal training.  During her undergraduate career at The University of Michigan, Amy studied Kinesiology movement, which has led her to a comprehensive certification (Mat & Apparatus) with a dance specialization from STOTT Pilates.

Her approach to teaching applies the precision and accuracy of alignment to the joy of movement so that all clients meet their individual goals, whether that’s sculpting and toning, recovering from an injury or improving balance and flexibility.  Amy creates custom workouts for students of all ages and abilities, designing an exercise flow that keeps moving and improving.

Amy’s method is grounded in four essential elements: alignment, positioning, movement, and bodywork. Rather than treating isolated symptoms, I take a whole-body approach that restores efficient movement patterns and supports lasting health. Each session blends hands-on manual therapy, myofascial release, mobility training, corrective exercise, and strength development to meet your body's unique needs. As your movement becomes more balanced and efficient, you'll experience improved posture, greater ease in daily activities, enhanced performance, and a stronger foundation for long-term wellness.
